In August, Eldon had a mole removed from his back. At his follow-up in February, the dermatologist said it had "repigmented" a little bit, which is quite normal. So, today, he went back to have more tissue removed. Not only did he not wince during the procedure which required 12 stitches, he drove himself both TO and FROM the appointment, paid the copay (because I forgot to send a check with him), and made his own follow-up appointment for next week. What a kid--thank goodness he doesn't take after his dad (and Jason) in the medical wooziness department!
