We gathered tonight to wish Rob's dad a happy 84th birthday (his birthday is on Monday), and celebrated with my famous lemon cake (recipe below picture). Happy Birthday, Grandpa C!
Aunt Marie’s LEMON CAKE
1 package lemon cake mix, bake in 9x13 pan
Cool cake 20–25 minutes. While cooling, dissolve 1 small package lemon Jell-o in ¾ c hot water. Add ¾ c cold water. Poke holes with fork evenly ½–¾” all over cake. Spoon warm Jell-o slowly over cake into holes. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight
Frosting:
1½ c milk1 package Dream Whip1 small package lemon instant pudding
Whip together until thickened, spread across cake. Refrigerate until time to serve.
