Rob's project today was finishing the installation of the fan in the shower and the light switch and GFI outlets. It took him most of the afternoon. At dinner he mentioned that he was glad to not have had to pay someone to do this part of the job, which I found ironic because I was thinking the exact opposite, how it was nice to be able to pay someone to do the work so it gets done quicker.

I'm so with you. A few years ago, we hired a contractor to finish our basement, after 2 years of Brad intending to do it. The Saturday that I went downstairs and found Brad asleep in our camping stuff rather than come upstairs and admit to me that he didn't want to spend all his free time working in the basement, is the day we called the contractor. We told the contractor often that he saved our marriage.
