Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner. It's been a LONG time since we had the Elders in our home, and it was wonderful to have them here again. They were very happy to each receive a copy of my dad's LDS Temples calendar. It gave me a bit of a flash forward to a year from now when Eldon will likely be at a member's home for dinner.
Elder Lopez and Elder Spencer are really hard-working young men who are doing a spectacular job. We enjoyed a nice spiritual message about missionary work, and how the new I'm a Mormon program is raising awareness. They gave us a Book of Mormon for us to write our family testimony in the front, and they will then pray to be able to place that book with the right person. They have given out more than 150 Books of Mormon since the last transfer. Amazing!
