Each lettered black binder on the left holds 100 DVDs. 100.
The movies in the binders are his "archived" ones that he doesn't watch as much
(the others are on shelves to the left--you can see the end of one of the shelving units in the picture).
The TV shows are in custom cases that can hold up to 24 disks. He makes the slipcovers in Publisher.
He keeps an Excel spreadsheet with all the data you'd ever want to know about his collection.
(Did I mention this drives me crazy!!)

I think Rob's obsession and organizing system is even more than what a librarian (in their right mind) would do, and believe me, I would know!!!
