Look who turned up on the Table of Contents page in the meet program for the state tournament!
None other than Interlake's own Ironman, Eldon Cummings. Woo! What a fun surprise to open my program and see him in all his glory. I kept stealing glances at this picture all meet long.
State prelims went very well for Eldon--he took 2nd in the 100 freestyle with another personal best time of 48.73, 3rd in the 100 backstroke with a 55.05, and both his relays (200 medley and 400 free) are seeded second. Finals are tomorrow. So exciting!
(Yes, I know Eldon is getting a lot of press time lately...just remember that in the fall he'll be off to college.)
