After Eldon's amazing performance at districts, he asked if he could get a new
performance swimsuit. How could I say no?? He went to the team store today,
and this is what he brought home. It's a Tyr Tracer C in a size 24. I don't think he's worn
a 24 since he was 9 or 10. ;-) However, for his weight, it is the right size. It is a
compression suit, and the biggest thing in performance swimwear. It almost feels like
paper and is very very tight. If it helps him do well at State this weekend, it will be worth
the $215 (after tax and a considerable discount).

Oooof! That is one tiny, expensive swimsuit. But, after his latest triumphs, how could you refuse? I can't imagine how he'll ever be able to wriggle himself into it, though. Maybe butter his hips?
What hips? Does Eldon have hips? I had so much fun watching Eldon swim at the Washington Open that I wish I was up there right now for State. Prelims looked good!!
