Today was the finals of the 2A state high school swim meet. It was absolutely unbelievable for the entire Interlake team! Eldon took 3rd in the 100 backstroke, anchored the 2nd-place 400 free relay (missed 1st place by 0.17 seconds), was part of the 200 medley relay that took first, setting a meet record AND a school record, AND won the 100 freestyle in a meet record time of 48.33. I had a hard time deciding on a picture for today, but figured Eldon's winning time was fitting. I am SO proud! What an amazing athlete he's become.
