Here comes Eldon to get his diploma!! The moment is finally here. I was expecting to cry but I was so distracted by the chaos and disorganization, that I was distracted so I guess that is a good thing. I have to say graduation tonight was a mixed bag for me. We were very lucky that the rain this morning abated and it was dry, though a bit colder than the Vegas family would have liked. The stands were crowded, crowded, crowded, there were lots of technical difficulties with the microphones throughout the evening. I said it before and I'll say it again, the football stadium is no place to hold graduation!
But, the ceremony itself was awesome. Great music, incredible speakers, including Eldon's unbelievably wonderful AP Government teacher, and lots of happy graduates. Who could ask for anything more??

Marie, this is killing me. I remember when you were so thrilled to be pregnant with Eldon, and now he's graduating from high school! How is this possible?
