Is there an "Extreme Makeover, Flower Bed Edition?" If so, alert Ty Pennington, because I am in dire need! My roses have gone completely wild, there are weeds that reach up past my knees, grass going ballistic, and the blue stuff is EVERYWHERE. (Granted, that is kind of its job, but it's running amok and attracts too many bees.)
My plans for this space this summer include pulling out all the plants, spreading copious amounts of Casoron, followed by a large sheet of black plastic, and red paving bricks. Toss a couple of Adirondack chairs and a little table on top, maybe a potted plant and a few toads, and call it good.
