Jason and his friends Palmer, Jack, and Glen started a new club at school. This picture was taken at their second meeting this afternoon, and you can see how much fun they are having. It is called the Planeswalker Club. They all play the fantasy card game Magic: The Gathering. It's really been good for him. Aside from the fact that he now has a group of friends at school that he can do things with, he and his friends have had to do a lot of work to get the club going. They had to find a sponsor (Jason's Biology teacher from last year), get approval from the Athletic Director and get all the paperwork filled out, put up signs, recruit members, elect officers, etc. It's been a great exercise for Jason and Palmer, both of whom are kind of shy and quiet at school.

And is it just me... or does Jason look significantly older now that he is "top dog" at home? :-)
