September 7: Return to Sender

Tired of all the junk mail you get?  The quickest way to get companies to drop you from their mailing list is to cross your name out, write "take my name off your mailing list" near your address, and then stuff everything that they send you (outer envelope, all contents) back into their own postage-paid envelope.  (All 1.7+ ounces.)  I know from working in a mail order department years ago, that the postman actually won't deliver the business reply mail until you pay the postage, and that postage is based on weight.

Package up a brick and attach the return envelope to it-worked great for me. and that was back when they had Air Mail return envelopes.
