Jason's English teacher gave him this turtle sticker earlier this week for getting 9 points out of 7 on his Catcher in the Rye quiz. Yes, you read that right: 9 out of 7. (I've been calling him "Hermione" ever since in honor of Harry Potter week at school). Unbeknownst to me, he stuck it on his door. This morning, as I was coming down the hall after my shower, I spotted it. The light was low; just the hall bathroom light shining under the bathroom door. For the life of me I could NOT tell what the sticker was. It looked kind of like a moth, or a smushed bug.
Jason said he's going to put all of his English stickers on his door. I hope the thing is covered with stickers by the end of the year. This same English teacher gives out quarters if she gets a student's name wrong. I found a quarter in the washing machine today, and Jason claimed it, because she had called him "Eldon" earlier in the week (Eldon also had her for Sophomore English).
