October 4: Eating Out

Tonight night was one of those nights when none of us were terribly thrilled about what was on the menu.  Rob and Jason wanted Wendy's.  Initially, I balked, but decided this would be a very useful exercise in real-life eating.  So, I fired up the Weight Watchers website and figured out what I could have and stay within my points allowance.  I was very excited to learn that I could have a large chili with cheese & onions, Caesar side salad, AND small fries for only 17 points.  I stayed within my points budget for the day, and it was filling and yummy!

A diet that allows Wendy's fries gets my approval. Mt mother-in-law has had great success with WW, and I think it is because it is a smart way to think about food. YOU choose what you eat, you just stay within your points. It makes way more sense to me than a diet that tells you what to eat for every meal. Nothing makes me grumpier than someone telling me what to do.

Good luck to you in this, Marie! I've been impressed by your success so far!
