Tonight I went to the long-awaited wedding reception for one of my second cousins, Rob Fuhriman. Our moms are first cousins and our Thomson grandpas were brothers. We didn't get to know each other until college, but he had actually grown up in Bellevue and knew "my" Rob and his family. Small world, huh?
It took my favorite Cuz a long time to find his eternal companion, so I was extra-thrilled to get a chance to attend his reception and help his mom out with keeping the buffet table filled.
(Rob and his bride were actually married in the Seattle Temple in March, and are expecting a baby boy at the end of December! All I can say is "good things come to those who wait.")
