Eldon and Jason left today on the ward high adventure, kayaking on Lake Roosevelt in eastern Washington in homemade kayaks. (Yes, there's a reason I wasn't born a boy--this does not even appeal to me.)
They were supposed to leave at 4 a.m., but delayed to 10 because of problems getting the support boat registered properly. Here's the group that was on time at 10. (There were many more still to arrive.) I went to the Deseret Industries donation trailer and came back at 11:30 and they were STILL at the church. I hope they finally got away--at least I haven't heard from them to come pick them up.
They get back on Saturday. I may have a hard time finding things to photograph the next few days.
