Today was another big day. It was Eldon's last Sunday in the ward that he's been in since he was 2 years old. Our bishop, upon meeting us that first Sunday, said "Oh, look, a Deacon!" I laughed and said, "oh, we'll never be here that long!" Guess I was wrong. But, for the record, Eldon is NOT a deacon. As of today, he holds the office of Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood (so THERE, Bishop Schvaneveldt).
Tonight we had a little family gathering at Rob's parents' house so Pam & Steve could say good bye. And, it was a great excuse to eat Dairy Queen ice cream cake!

Jason, Marie, Eldon, Grandpa C (in front), Rob, Grandma C, Steven and Pam (No I don't know why Steven and Pam aren't sitting closer to us. We all showered today, I promise.)
